Arbetsbeskrivning
Plan International works for the rights of children and young people in some 70 countries, with a particular focus on improving gender equality. Our priority areas are protection from violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), education and economic empowerment. We also work to strengthen civil society in our programme countries, with a particular focus on children and young people. We are now looking for one intern to join the Department for Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships.
We are looking for someone who can support our resource mobilisation towards Plan International’s programmatic priorities. Tasks will include analysis of donor priorities, coordinating a pipeline and support during application processes. As an intern at Plan International Sweden, you will gain insight into the daily work of the organisation as well as resource mobilization for our programmes and thereby contribute to our work for children's and young people's rights and equal opportunities for girls.
We are looking someone who is studying towards a degree in political science, law, finance or a similar relevant field. We are looking for someone who is interested in global development, children and young people’s rights and youth participation. You should have very high proficiency in written and verbal English and Swedish.
About the internship
The internship is scheduled to start in early September or as agreed and will last for at least ten weeks or more over a continuous period. There is no financial compensation during the internship. You will be based at our office in Hammarby Sjöstad, but due to the pandemic, we primarily work from home and follow the recommendations of the Public Health Agency.
