Intranet Communicator to BA50, IKEA of Sweden AB
The Intranet Communication role has the leadership of the business areas internal global communication. This means securing that clear, relevant and up to date information is available on the assigned intranet site to support IKEA co-workers in their everyday business activities. This commands excellent business understanding and communication skills.
ASSIGNMENT
The primary task of the co-worker working with Intranet Communication is to communicate updated range information to shop keepers and other staff in the stores. To be able to communicate the right content, analysis and development of content need to be done in close co-operation with Commercial Managers. The responsibility for the Intranet Communicator is to create the platform, send and update information and safe guard and evaluate the quality of the content. It is also important in this role to be in close contact with the stores for constant development of the BA sites. Intranet is the main IKEA channel for connecting IoS-stores and need to be used accordingly.
Kravspecifikation Knowledge
Should be familiar with IKEA and the IKEA idea, an IKEA customer
Genuine interest in Home Furnishings and our products
A solid retail experience
Fluent both spoken and written English
Experience and knowledge in doing layouts/editing
Experience in developing content for intranet/internet
Suitable education/fields of experience
Post-secondary degree in information/communication, new media, project management,
marketing
Capabilities/Motivation
Skilled in editing making 10 lines into 5 sharp ones
Analytical can easily see what we need to communicate
Good at briefing the communication need
Pedagogical works as a link between stores and commercial management
Methodical, structured with administrative skills
Likes simplicity, straightforward personality with strong drive.
