In our work to strengthen and further develop our internal communication, we are looking for an Intranet Manager.This position is part of the Corporate Communications team based at Sandvik Mining and Construction HQ in Sandviken.The position plays an important role in the challenging work of developing our internal communication globally to support our business. Key performance areas The position as Intranet Manager involves overall responsibility for all intranet operations within the global intranet.As Intranet Manager you will plan, at the strategic level, how the organization can best use the intranet to reach out with its communication, through what is its biggest communication channel.You are a driven writer with good stylistic abilities, as you will be writing and publishing your own news items and articles on the intranet.Your principle activities will be to: - Be responsible for the Intranet globally - Ensure that the Intranet supports our corporate strategy - Be responsible for the strategy and future development of the Intranet - Create and maintain Intranet policies and guidelines - Create, edit and produce content on the Intranet when needed - Act as guidance and support regarding Intranet issues for our global organization You will report to the Sandvik Mining and Construction Communication Manager.Your profile We are looking for someone who has a degree in Communications, with excellent knowledge of the intranet as a communication channel and several years of experience in a similar position.Editorial skills and the ability to write and edit content, but also skills in project management are required.Knowledge of intranet structures based on Lotus Notes is beneficial.Previous experience of working in a large organization is required, as our organization is complex.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite for the position.Knowledge of other languages is beneficial.International travel is required.As an individual, you are independent and highly motivated, with a well-structured work approach.You have strong abilities for communicating with people from other cultures and in different time zones.Good ability to co-operate and see the ?big picture?is desireable.You are open and service-minded and can manage contacts with external parties such as public relations agencies and the like.Additionally, you are flexible, able to adapt and can work with large organizational structures. Sandvik Mining and Construction is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, cemented-carbide tools, service and technical solutions for the excavation and sizing of rock and minerals in the mining and construction industries.Annual sales 2009 amounted to about SEK 32,600 M, with approximately 14,400 employees.
