Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling. We are now looking for an Inventory and Demand Planner.

This position is based in Sandviken and will be working with the entire Rock Tools assortment.

Key performance areas
In this role you will work with the product lines of Top Hammer, DTH, MGT, Rotary and Manganese. The main responsibilities are:

- Ensuring that EHS issues are a priority in your actions and in short and long-term planning
- Ensuring the timely collection of forecast data from the regions
- Ensuring continual collaboration and communication of forecasting and inventory management data with the regions and key stakeholders (S&OP meetings)
- Providing feedback and making recommendations to regions to ensure orders are created in accordance with the forecast
- Providing support to internal departments in order to improve inventory management
- Monitoring and steering inventory levels and parameter handling in the WH network
- OSMI and NWC actions
- Stock replenishment follow-up
- Return process handling and redistribution
- Communicating closely with the Sales Area and getting the information on sales action to ensure that we have correct support in each stock location
- Performing gap and trend analysis and recommending process improvements

This position involves traveling 25-50% days per year.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree relevant to supply chain management, including recent graduates, with the right profile. Experience from the field of supply chain management in a global company is advantageous, as is experience of working with a global S&OP process and inventory management. The position requires that you have mastered English, both verbally and in writing. We expect you to be analytical, skilled in inventory management and have good social and communication skills.
