Right now, our customer in the automotive industry has an exciting job opening for you in the area Part Supply & Logistics. They are now looking for an Inventory Manager / Logistic Coordinator to join their team, located in Gothenburg. The team consist of eleven members with a global responsibility. The company and team you will be a part of is on an exciting journey, working together in a fast-paced global environment to break new ground in almost every aspect of their operations.
What's in it for you?
The logistics function Parts Supply & Logistics within Supply Chain Management is responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to customers throughout the world. This includes operational control of all the company's owned parts inventory, warehouse management and transportation, as well as the long-term development of the global logistics process.
They are constantly expanding the network in order to shorten the lead-time to our dealers and customers. Digitalization, sustainability and battery logistics are becoming increasingly important and get more and more focused.
What you'll do!
As an Inventory Manager / Logistic Coordinator you will be responsible for inventory control of some of their inventory warehouses in the world
In short, your job is to:
* Comply with agreed-upon market demands, among other things, service levels, turnover rate and parts range
* Continues improvement of existing systems and practices
* Visit the markets for follow up and development of the activities in the stock management issues
* Cooperate/participate in projects for the development of the business
* Manage Demand, Optimize Service and Inventory
* Collect process data, analyze and develop improved processes.
* Initiate, drive and support process change implementation and standardization.
* Drive for continuous development of customer knowledge and satisfaction.
* Establish and develop a strong collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop and improve statistical and analytical methods.
You and your skills
The right person for this job probably has a university degree in Supply Chain Management or similar and some years of work experience in the Supply Chain area.
Since you will work in a global setting you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken and have a willingness to travel. Also, you need to be used and/or have the ability to work with continues development in a fast paced environment.
Competence and experience is important but personality is maybe even more important. To succeed in this role you need to have strong analytical skills and in using Excel. Since it is a broad role you need to be organized and structured in order to get thing's done. You are positive, customer oriented and have an ability to build good relations.
