Inventory Planner for our client in Västerås (remote)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to join our client's team in Västerås!

As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of raw materials and/or finished goods. This includes setting inventory parameters, targets, and managing inventory replenishment through purchase orders. Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers to design, drive, and communicate delivery plans.


Key Responsibilities:

• Establish inventory parameters and targets to ensure optimal stock levels
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on confirmations
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive timely and efficient deliveries
• Monitor backlog evolution and present delivery updates to the management team
• Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers regarding inventory needs


Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Result-oriented mindset with strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Previous experience in material planning, purchasing, or equivalent roles
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or related field
• Collaborative and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Proficient in SAP
