Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for keeping inventory levels of spare parts, chemicals, bolts, nuts and washes as well as e-scooters up to date at all times. Receiving and dispatching stock with the help of different systems. Monitoring current inventory proactively and avoid overstock and out-of-stock situations by flagging issues when identified as such. Will also arrange for all incoming orders to be received properly by coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders.


Tasks:
Makes sure inventory levels are correct
Keeps track of stock levels
Receives cargo and register inventory on the systems
Enters SKU numbers, creating, updating and maintaining the database
Books cargo in and out of warehouses
Books and coordinates road shipments of scooters and spare parts
Responsible for inventory stock counts
Supports with monitoring and coordination of inbound shipments from China
Helps with different projects such as ERP implementation
Other ad-hoc tasks delegated to them



Who you are:
Relevant experience in the logistics field
Great communication and coordination skills, handling challenges and being able to take control when confronting situations arise leaving all parties involved satisfied with the result.
Convincing but good listener with attention to details.
Fast learner with interests in the fields of supply chain and logistics too
Have patience but act proactively when needed to tackle situations
