About the company: The company, established in 1916, is the largest industrial holding company in Northern Europe.For almost a century, the company's business concept has been to generate solid long-term returns by investing in companies with attractive potential for value creation.They are an active owner who applies their experience, knowledge and network to develop both listed and unlisted holdings and make them best-in-class.The company conducts investment activities from Northern Europe, the United States and Asia.Job description: As an Investment Controller you will be involved in the company's investment processes.You are expected to bring forward the basis of decisions been made and to interpret agreements.Your responsibilities also include manage and participation in projects regarding improvements of processes.You will be situated at the company's office in Amsterdam. You responsibilities include: *Assist in the investment/divestment process *Responsible for the monthly and quarterly valuation process *Performing, analyze and reconcile calculations with regard to investment performance *Preparation and calculation of reports with respect to several Personnel Incentive Schemes *Contribute to and assist in projects to improve processes and IT system support You will be part of a team of three Investment Controllers with whom you will be cooperating regularly.The position also includes a close contact with the other offices, such as Hong Kong, The Unites States and Stockholm.The employment involves great responsibilities and in a long term the opportunity of being part of investment meetings with the Swedish top management.Requirements: *HBO or University degree in Business, Accounting or Finance *Two till three years of relevant working experience; experience gained at a bank, insurance company or a private equity fund entity is an advantage *Experienced "Excel user" and having strong interest in other financial software *Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must.Dutch or/and Swedish is a preference You work autonomously and are structured as a person.You are careful and have great numerical analyses skills.As you will be in contact with different people it is important that you can see the difference between personal and professional and cooperate well with others.
