Job Description
Your contribution to something big
Identification of tonal noise generation mechanisms of a centrifugal fan in an exhaust/air source water heat pump
Evaluation of acoustic propagation characteristics – What analysis approach to employ?
Identification of potential passive solutions to attenuate propagation & transmission external to heat pump
Design of identified solutions
Design verification by numerical methods, preferably Ansys Mechanical/Fluent
Laboratory test for experimental validation and modeling verification

Qualifications
What distinguishes you
Knowledge and experience in modelling and simulation in Ansys Mechanical / Fluent
Problem solving and research mindset
Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred/beneficial skills
Master in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge in NVH/Acoustics, Turbomachinery & CFD
Knowledge in thermodynamics
