Volvo Car Pension Management AB (VCPM) is a small specialized team within Global Finance. You act in cooperation with colleagues world-wide where you and your team provide expertise and guidance within the pension asset and liability area. At Finance, you can push your own professional skills and drive change.
What you will do
As one of our team members is going on parental leave, we are looking for someone to support us with various investment/pension asset management task in the meantime. As Investment Analyst you will support the team with investment and fund manager evaluations and with the monitoring of our current fund managers. You will run quantitative analysis and day-to-day risk management based on input from the Chief Investment Officer. You will also create documentation of high quality in which analysis, results and recommendations are clearly communicated. The tasks are performed in close cooperation with the other team members in VCPM.
Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
We are looking for a highly ambitious, reliable person with an analytical mindset with a strong interest in the asset management area. Great attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgement calls are also important skills. You probably have previous experience from manager selection and/or performing operational and financial analysis of investment opportunities.
Being people-oriented and cooperating with other team members to get things done is necessary to succeed in this role, but you will also work independently from time to time. We especially want to point out that sustainability and the ESG aspects of fund management is of great importance for us at Volvo Cars, and previous experience from this field is beneficial.
We believe that you have an academic degree in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering.
