We build relations within the start-up world, research trends and gain insights on where our industry is heading as well as test new ways of doing business.
Within the Laboratory we are now building a new team - the Relations Lab. The main purpose of the Relations Lab is to find new business opportunities and potential partners for the group to drive meaningful growth faster. The team will do this by building meaningful relationships with relevant players. We will act with speed, be inspirational and become someone others want to meet and work with. The team will always look far ahead, have an open mind and a wide perspective.
Job Description
As an Investment Associate at Relations Lab you will work towards our overall mission to truly make a difference and challenge our business in a nice way. As a part of the Relations Lab you will map out business opportunities with potential partners, for the group to drive meaningful growth faster. This role comes with a lot of focus on relationships and network.
Key responsibilities
You research and map out different opportunities, markets, companies and start-ups.
Together with the team identify and analyze key innovation areas relevant for the future of our industry, looking ahead of the investments among incumbents.
Build relationships with innovators relevant for the future of our industry (I.e. arrange round-table talk, share insights etc).
Eventually generate opportunistic leads for the H&M Co:Lab team, our investment arm.

Qualifications
We believe that you are a strategic networker. You are an open-minded and humble team player with a lot of ambition. You seek opportunities to learn and develop. Your focus is on value creation and meaningful growth. We are looking for candidates that have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong experience in communication, is analytical and understand research.
Irrelevant if you have formal education or is an entrepreneur – we are seeking the right person with a background within economic/ finance, engineering or tech.
Experience in carrying out presentations to both small and large audiences.
You have excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
Knowledge in other languages is meriting.
