Investment/General Expense Buyer

The investment / general expense buyer is part of the Purchasing organization and reports to the purchasing director of Mjällby. Requirement profile: -Bachelor degree in mechanics or economics -Minimum 4 years experience from purchasing (strategy, negotiations, contracts, etc), preferably from the automotive sector.-Experience from machinery and production equipment contracting -Swedish and English language at professional level in speech and writing Main responsibilities: -Manage and develop the supplier panel for investment & general expenses -Build and execute the strategy for investment/general expense supplier panels -Negotiate and settle contracts with above mentioned suppliers (some contracts to be coordinated with finance such as electricity/gas/IT) -Identify and coordinate cost saving projects in investment and general expense area.-Coordination with our Linköping division and if applicable with Jamestown/US division -Make sure to follow ISO/TS standards and internal TiSiX roadmaps for the supplier panels -Purchase of tooling, etc in projects where we should produce in-house.-Negotiations, contracts, etc for transports, production machinery, maintenance, tooling, assembly lines, etc.Investments in the plant/buildings.
