Investor Relations Officer

The purpose of Investor Relations is to actively communicate with the financial market about Sandvik's short and long-term financial performance, business logic, business drivers and other relevant issues, in order to insure a stable and correct valuation and good liquidity for Sandvik in the stock market. The function is the official channel to and from the financial market and plays an important role in creating a positive and trustworthy image of Sandvik as being the obvious first choice for current and future investors.

Key performance areas
As Investor Relations Officer you will be one of Sandvik's three primary spokespersons to the financial market, as well as the internal financial analyst. Your primary duties include to:

- Represent Sandvik in contacts with the financial market, alone or with senior management
- Plan and conduct activities involving the financial market
- Provide intelligence on the financial market's view of Sandvik, primarily to the CEO and CFO, but also to the Board of directors and Group Executive Management
- Compose company statements and reports and create presentations
- Monitor internal and external issues and events, assess impact, provide course of actions and communication strategy to stakeholders and execute strategy
- Contribute to the strengthening of the Sandvik brand and the development of Sandvik's overall communication

You report to the Vice President of Investor Relations.

Your profile
You have a financial degree and several years' experience within Finance, Business Controlling or Analysis, as well as good knowledge of Sandvik, operationally and financially, and both an interest in and understanding of changes in our surroundings. You are fluent in English and you have the ability to express numbers and financial context verbally and in writing. Experience of the stock market and working with senior management is advantageous.

You are a skilled communicator, who is both outgoing and service minded, with the ability to cooperate with many different target audiences, both internally and externally. You show enthusiasm and self-motivation and have the ability to work independently, with good advance planning. As a fast pace and a high degree of unpredictability are a natural part of the working environment, it is essential that you tolerate stress well and are prepared to deal with every eventuality.
