iOS Developer

The Role:
The iOS Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining iOS applications, with a continuous ownership from planning and implementation, to testing and delivery.
You will contribute to all parts of product development, from planning and designing features, to implementation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and resolving bugs. You will take ownership of features, modules and processes as necessary.

Take ownership over several of our iOS applications.
Design and plan features together with team members and internal stakeholders.
Ensure high quality features by implementing and running both automated and manual tests, and following up error reports and monitoring.
Review other developers’ features through code reviews, and engage in refining both your own and others’ changes, to ensure quality within the team, and to share domain knowledge in team technology and features.
Drive a change from idea to deployment with limited supervision.
Analyze and propose solutions to sometimes complex problems with limited information or background.
Set, track, and reach implementation goals, in iterative and incremental steps.
Study relevant technology, and, in cooperation with the team, share and include new knowledge in your work.
Coach and help junior developers.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs and incidents.



Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Software technology and development fascinates you.
You have knowledge of best practices within the field of mobile app development in general and iOS development in particular.
You are very comfortable with Swift and have a deep understanding of the core frameworks and APIs in iOS.
You have the skills to create user facing features with scalable and maintainable code.
You have the ability to plan, scope, and estimate feature implementations, in cooperation with the team.
You have the ability to collaborate with other developers.
You have the ability to create, monitor, and analyse usage and error information, and with the help of it leverage new development.
You have a drive to deliver great user experience and product value.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Knowledge of build processes and pipelines.
Experience in testing and testing frameworks.
Experience with Kotlin and/or Android development

Education:
A degree within software development or equivalent.
