Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to take part in future-proofing apps loved by millions of kids around the world, making sure they stay around for years to come?
As the iOS Developer in the Catalogue & Platform team you’ll be the one who owns the iOS platform. That means you’ll be responsible for keeping track of updates, new OS versions, compatibilities, new devices etc. You’ll be the iOS expert.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work strategically with the iOS platform, making sure that all our apps available are kept up to date. You’ll be the go to iOS person, someone who can alert the team and the company to updates within the platform that we need to be aware of.
You’ll work on maintaining, and further developing, the Toca Growtool which is a bridge between Unity and the native layer of our apps. But you won’t be alone, you’ll collaborate closely with Hannes, our Unity Developer (and the other developers in the Central Tech organization, of course).
You’ll be responsible for maintaining our back catalog consisting of 20+ apps built in Unity, (and some older ones in Cocos2d). We are looking into modernising some of these.
Is this you?
You’re an experienced iOS developer with good knowledge of Objective C. You are comfortable with different parts of the Apple app ecosystem, like provisioning, App Store Connect, build systems etc.
You believe in the power of play!
This is us!
Toca Boca captures the spirit of play. We create digital toys and everyday products that are filled with fun and silliness that kids from any corner of the world can instantly relate to. Everything is designed from their perspective. We celebrate the diversity and quirkiness of their world and give them the freedom to play in ways that only they can dream up.
Good to know!
This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months of probationary employment. As we’re an international company, with over 10 nationalities and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
