And even if we have been around for a while, there are as many exciting things ahead of us in this marketplace jewel. Just as it was in the beginning.

What you'll be up to:

We're on fire and one of Sweden’s most liked and used apps is to become better, brighter, smarter and cooler! It is kind of needed since there is heavy traffic on it - millions, yes millions, of users every week. It is time and you are welcome to join the ride as we take it into the next generation.

Together with the team you’ll work on both new features and maintenance, to continuously modernise the Blocket experience. In this awesome team called Private Seller, you will focus on creating a great experience for our users while inserting an ad. Pretty cool, right? You will work closely together with the Android, Web and Backend developers. We love testing sessions and pair programming, we try to sit and test the new flows and try to fix the found issues together.

We work in Swift on iOS and strive to write maintainable, clear code that is testable, and we use continuous integration and code reviews to ensure we get it right.

Our apps have undergone many design and technical revisions. When we see a new technology or pattern that may benefit our apps and product we don't hesitate to become early adopters and position ourselves ahead of the curve.
Who you are

We believe you are a seasoned developer with at least 4 years hands-on experience of iOS development working in a team. You are able to independently lead the development of new features, and enjoy discussing and debating code and solutions with your peers. You like sharing your knowledge with your team and junior developers and above all, you are curious and continuously strive to learn new things. We are often working in pairs so collaboration is another key.

Background/skills

Hi, my name is Mohsen. I am originally from Iran and moved to Sweden 3 years back. Have been at Blocket for almost a year now.
