Volvo Trademark Holding AB is the world-wide owner of the VOLVO trademarks. The company is jointly and
equally owned by AB Volvo and Volvo Car Corporation and manages various matters relating to the VOLVO
trademark on behalf of its owners. We aim to own, maintain, protect and preserve the VOLVO trademarks on a global basis.
The office is located at Lindholmen, in Göteborg and we are a small company of four employees. We are looking forward and welcome a new colleague to our team.
Main activities and responsibilities include:
As the IP assistant/administrator at Volvo Trademark Holding AB you will be involved in many different types of trademark matters. The role includes various administrative tasks including invoice handling, coordinating meetings and projects. You will work closely with colleagues at AB Volvo Group, the Volvo Car Group (both in Sweden and abroad) and with different law firms.

In this role you will report to Monica Dempe, Managing Director of Volvo Trademark Holding AB
What you will focus on:
Handling invoices, managing payments and contacts with suppliers
Assist with financial follow up and reporting
Annual report management & year end closing
Coordinating current and future IP system
Coordinating meetings and projects
Notarizations/legalizations
Update and maintain the company’s IP management system:
Assist with trademark renewals
Assist with trademark applications
Updating and monitoring deadlines
Correspondence with law firms globally
Ongoing administrative tasks
Who are you?
You have extensive experience of administrative work preferably in intellectual property law. You have a good sense of service and are used to a high pace and have a good ability to prioritize. You are easy to collaborate with yet comfortable working independently. You are curious and want to learn new things. Furthermore, you can see things ahead and work proactively. Finding structure comes natural for you and you are digitally updated and get motivated by learning new systems.
Critical competencies for the position
Excellent administrative skills with a talent for accuracy
Excellent ability to communicate with full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
MS Office, proficient level with interest in driving digitalization
Experience and interest in invoice handling, SAP system experience would be meritorious
Networking and co-ordination skills
Strong professionalism, integrity, creativity and a problem solver
Experience of working in IP management and monitoring systems would be meritorious
