About this opportunity
The DAF Project Management office is looking for ASIC / IP Program Managers to manage leading edge complex IP blocks that will be supporting Ericsson’s next generation of Radio and Baseband ASICs. We are looking for individuals that have design experience and competence in:
ASIC or IP design RTL / Verification background
IP Reuse and common IP interface knowledge
Problem solving and ability to lead cross functional teams
Program management and Project execution
Proven track record

This position reports to DAF Program Management Office.

What you will do
This position requires you to use a wide range of skills as you work on all phases of the ASIC / IP development flow from architecture, design, verification, and physical implementation to post silicon validation.

You will bring relevant experience and technical competence in:
Building a state of art ASIC design chip for Ericsson’s Silicon Design team and/or
Building common IP blocks for high speed interfaces – Ethernet, PCIe, Serdes, DDR, security (MACSec)
Micro architecture, RTL design, debug, verification, and productization/qualification of ASICs and IP blocks
Partnership with both internal / external stakeholders to integrate critical IP blocks and complex IP/sub-systems
Preparing / presenting IP features and status to key stakeholders and providing solutions to design issues
Programming and scripting (C/C++, Python, Perl, Tcl, Csh)
Excel, Hansoft and Jira


Moreover, we would like the chosen candidate to become a mentor for the junior team members.

Other qualifications:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Clear and effective communication skills and a strong desire to work in teamwork environment
10-15+ years previous experience working on large digital SoCs with many hierarchical layout macros
10-15+ years experience using Verilog/System Verilog
10-15+ years knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design flow
10-15+ years digital design, logic synthesis and coverage analysis, experience with back end support
10-15+ years RTL, Verilog, System Verilog experience
10-15+ years verification skills (working knowledge of UVM is a plus)
