As an IS Application Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening the local Information Systems team, supporting our SAP system in Sweden.
You will act as a second line support within business for process related matters regarding SAP environment, executing Information Systems activities within all Information Systems process domains, as well as identifying, proposing and implementing SAP updates and changes needed.
Reporting to hiring manager, Robert Barbis and SAP CoE ABB Sweden, you will be part of a team applying broad Information Systems technology knowledge and expertise to aid global business needs and help solve difficult topics.
Your responsibilities
Translate business needs into feasible solution architecture requirements adhering to organization standards by working closely with stakeholders and various business contacts.
Close collaboration with domain solution architects and leaders to elaborate requirements and designs that address specific business challenges will be needed.
At the same time, having the ability to set direction, technical scope and to build / lead teams of technical individuals and manage their technical deliverables and drive vendor teams to deliver solutions in accordance with quality standards and within budget & timelines.
You will also work closely with other members of the local SAP team to ensure that logical and technical architectures support SAP COE standards and requirements, ensuring compatibility with other areas.
Supporting the transformation of the business through SAP standard process adoption and delivery in ERP rollouts is crucial in all aspects should always be the guiding principle.
You will also need strong process adherence to fulfill all documentation controls for new process introductions and process management controls.
As part of the responsibility will also be to act as the ERP System Owner for Electrification Business Area, which includes being part of release STECOs, represent the business area in country SAP forums and leading regression testing as part of project releases.
At all times, develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in business & IT.
Your background
8-10 years of experience in SAP technical design and end-user support. Preferably even development experience.
Self-driven who thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced business environment.
Deep understanding of technical SAP solutions.
Ability to work independently or in teams and manage multiple demands at the same time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams.
Good experience in identifying performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting and fine tuning complex SAP scenarios.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to creatively solve business problems.
Experience in running operational SAP support for business.
Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills. Fluent in English written and spoken.
