IT Administrator – Azure/Exchange

BAUHAUS in the Nordics have embarked on the cloud journey where we migrate to Azure/Exchange with a greenfield approach; implement a redesigned network and implement new security tools like Sentinel – and as part of that we are looking for an experienced Azure/Exchange IT Administrator.  With BAUHAUS, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of being challenged both technically and business-wise in an ambitious international organization that is continually growing.

What is the job about?

We are currently migrating our dataloads from an on-premise datacenter to Microsoft Azure and as part of that we are also migrating from Notes to M365. This project is executed with the assistance of external consultants and we will work in a partially sourced setup in future. You will refer to the Teamlead for Infrastructure, which is part of IT Operations. The IT team for the 4 Nordic countries is currently being reorganized into one joint Nordic team and will consist of an IT Operations team and a Business Applications team. Hence you will be working with colleagues in Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Iceland. 

  Job tasks include administration of:

Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Exchange/Office365
Active Directory & certificates
DNS
Microsoft Server 2019+2022
On-premise servers / data center – until it is phased out
Backup for your colleagues in other functional areas – ie. infrastructure applications
  Experience with the following is not mandatory, but additional advantages: SharePoint, OneDrive, good understanding of network setup, Linux, SAN & WMware. 

Limited on-site work in Danish stores should be expected but only limited travel in the Nordics.  Note: this job can be located either in Aarhus, Denmark (Tilst) or Stockholm, Sweden (Järfalla) and is posted in both countries.

Your experience

In addition to your functional experience, you have a relevant educational background and solid practical experience. Your key traits include: structured approach; ability to complete the assignments and meet deadlines; motivated self-starter & a team player with a positive mindset.  

Linguistically, you must be fluent in either Danish or Swedish as well as English (verbally and written).
