  The offer

As an IT Analyst, you would be working on one of the key development projects of strategic importance to the Bank. This project involves building a data warehouse which will serve as a common data repository for business data which will fulfil the analytical and reporting needs of Treasury. Over time, this data warehousing solution will replace many existing data repositories (or data marts) and reporting solutions.  
 
In TALM IT Solutions, we support our business partners with sustainable IT solutions and effective IT services for development and maintenance. The solutions are mainly supporting the trading process, risk and compliance reporting, liquidity risk management, market risk management and funds transfer pricing.  
 
You will be responsible for IT/ Business analysis for the project related to requirements specification and testing. This involves:
 
- Facilitating the collaboration between business and IT.  
- Assist in gathering business requirements and converting them into clearly defined system requirements.  
- Facilitating project team members in understanding the strategic and business rationale for the requirements and for the solution.
- Validating the Output report and resolving the issues found.  
- Assisting the business in understanding the test results and facilitating the UAT sign-off.

Your background:  
 
- 3- 4-year experience as an IT Analyst working in Banking Data warehousing projects in an agile environment with a Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.  
- Thorough understanding of financial instruments.  
- Good understanding of reporting solutions and data flows for financial instruments including modelling of these products in data warehouses.  
- Beneficial to have experience in the following:  
    - Tools: Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, Sharepoint, Teradata SQL Assistant.  
    - Source systems: Infinity, RLN, Wall Street, Markets trading platform.  
    - SAFe Scrum Master.  
- Analytical mindset and ability to analyse large amounts of data is required in order to assist in data verification and providing advice to correct errors. Good understanding of data models and extraction of data.  
- Written and spoken English at a professional level is expected. Excellent communicator is a must.
