We are looking for an IT Architect to join our IT team, who will create concrete, robust, and appropriate IT architecture and transition roadmaps for IDEAL OF SWEDEN. You will be setting an IT roadmap based on the principles of Cloud-first, Headless software, and microservices. The right candidate must have a start-up mentality in order to feel comfortable working for a fast-moving scale-up company. This includes “getting your hands dirty” and performing the tasks needed in any given situation

What you'll do:

• Ensure that IT systems are scalable while continuously working for a higher degree of automatization
• Proactively follow market trends and advise on opportunities to use new technology to enhance our business. Investigate and propose new technologies and solutions
• Lead the transition to data drive decision making by aggregating data sources in the data warehouse solution and visualizing relevant reporting needs together with the data scientists
• Enhancing the technology stack in terms of languages, platforms, and 3rd party providers. Oversee the technology lifecycle management and decide on decommissioning of old applications
• Drive and Improve the Business Intelligence landscape
• Implement new services together with the rest of the IT team
• Take responsibility for implementing chosen solutions with a hands-on mentality
• Manage and prioritize demands from business stakeholders

Required skills and background:

• Relevant degree in computer science, civil engineering or similar
• Previous experience from working in a large scale e-commerce business
• Experience in NodeJS, Javascript and Microservices
• Knowledge of Big data principles and Cloud technologies
• Experience in database technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience from working in high traffic websites
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices
• Experience in SEO/SEM strategies
• Experience in BigQuery
• Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central
• Google Cloud experience

Other:

• You will be based in central Stockholm
• You will report to our Head of IT
• The position is a full-time position
