IT architect

Vattenfall Eldistribution AB is responsible for the distribution of electricity to around 900,000 private and business customers in Sweden.Our principal role is to develop and maintain the power network.We are currently investing SEK 10 billion in the network to increase security of supply.We have around 800 employees in Trollhättan, Stockholm and Luleå.IT architect The IS/IT unit has overall responsibility for IS/IT in Nordic Distribution, which are including the daily operation of our applications and developing our business with IT as the tool.The unit is also responsible for developing and realising the Nordic Distribution IT strategy along with the IS/IT project portfolio.Other areas of responsibility that fall within the unit are IT infrastructure, IT security and driving the development of a common Nordic structure within IT. Responsibilities: Your principal work duties will be: .Maintenance and further development of Nordic Distribution City Plan and IT architecture processes . Supporting the IT council, development projects, application managers and the management groups within Distribution and Business Development .Participating in IT councils as a part IT governance on Nordic and Group level.. Participate in various IT development projects . Member of various networks within the IT area Qualifications: You will be a systems science graduate or equivalent.A preference from our side is that you have knowledge of different models and methods within the area of IT architecture and have experience of managing projects.Knowledge of IT security would be an advantage.You have a good understanding of systems administration, systems development and various systems integrations and are familiar working with planning, including budgets and forecasts. As a person we believe you are a flexible and goal oriented individual when your role requires you to take the initiative in various kinds of work related duties.Being open and communicative are other qualities that will be needed, as you will have many internal and external contacts.We also welcome pedagogic skills, as you will be explaining about IT architecture and IT security to various groups.
