IT Architect - Enabler is an important part of the performance management function to secure that we maximize the usage of right Products for the right purpose in the IT4IT portfolio.


Your main responsibilities will be to securing that we are taking the steps needed o explore new ways of working and tools to modernize and build the IT4IT landscape for the future.


You will:
Ensure solid architecture in heterogeneous IT Solution by proof
Ensure designed solutions support business policies, strategy & stakeholder concerns
Contribute to the initial assessment of feasibility & verify architectural solutions by securing PoCs & MVPs
Be part of critical and/or strategic projects
Identify technical, security risks and propose mitigation actions

Organizational belonging:
You will be part of the Volvo Group Digital & IT organization. Firstly, to the Infrastructure and Onsite Services (IOS) section, with 600 employees worldwide. Secondly, to the Quality & Security (Q&S) function.


Quality & Security is a function providing all IT delivery team within Volvo Group the capacity to operate their IT quality and security efficiently. Our mission is functionally driving and steering IT quality and IT security across the entire IT delivery organization of the Volvo Group.


You will be reporting to the Performance Management manager in Q&S and work in close collaboration with Q&S Architectural Team, Infrastructure & Operations teams, Cyber Security, our suppliers (e.g. HCL) as well as other delivery units.


Your Profile:
You have a recognized university level degree in Computer Science or related field and a solid background as an IT architect. You possess a strategic mindset with an eager to explore and learn, being able to work on own initiative and in cooperation within a team environment. You demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills being able to present architectural decisions and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. To succeed in this role, you have great communication skills and are fluent in English.


Location:
Flexible but limited to our main sites in Belgium (Ghent), France (Lyon), India (Bangalore), Poland (Wroclaw) or Sweden (Gothenburg or Skövde),
