We are searching for a consultant who will work on our client’s project in Helsingborg.
Background:
The scope of work is to manage IT products and suppliers, develop architectures, roadmaps, integrations and to plan and facilitate platform releases. The team works in close collaboration with functional experts, project leaders and other stakeholders in the department and all developments ultimately aim to support the expansion and business development of other retailers.
We need resources/capacity with IT integration solution and IT architecture to be able to analyze, design and coordinate all work that is needed with new or changed integrations connected to expansion (Chile, Mexico, and Puerto Rico), support for new customer meeting points and small store replenishment, program to support new stores with more than 3 digits.
Also support MVP’s (DSP integration for RTO & RTR, One Aligned Forecast, Data Accuracy to Enhance Forecasting (DAEF) and DWP – New integration need to retrieve. And support to define integration strategy for MVBC.
We are looking for a hands-on and result oriented person with extensive IT / Solution architecture experience that can take on the role as a solution/Integration architect and also as technical lead, the task of securing that the platform and its integrations used by other retailers fit together with all relevant solutions.
The consultant will be working closely with the client’s retail package architect and information exchange solution owner.
The role objectives are:
o To define target architectures, guiding the development of the total Retail IT Platform, based on close collaboration with the retailers using the platform and relevant developments and dependencies
o To govern that the design of new solutions conforms to the IT architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and based on a holistic architecture.
o To secure an understanding of the architecture to relevant business and IT stakeholders, within and across organizations, and seek agreement with business owners.
o To provide information and advice for better informed business decisions within and across organizations to optimize portfolio and roadmaps.
o To develop, document and anchor IT architecture vision and principles for the Retail IT Platform “
o To guide the scope of pre-studies and projects in line with target architecture and architecture principles.
o To collaborate with relevant stakeholders to shape ideas into IT architecture for business solutions improvements, describing the current state, future state and transition states to guide design and delivery of business solutions.
o To actively follow and guide business solutions improvements during transformations to the desired future state. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure that agreed architecture, strategies, principles and recommendations are implemented.
Need:
Have solid experience and extensive personal network of people working in both business functions and IT within different units
o Can understand retail operation as well as how the IT platforms used for running these processes fit together
o Drive by achieving long-term sustainable business result
o Have strong analytical and conceptual thinking
o Has leadership skills to create a clear target architecture and vision anchored with all relevant stakeholders
o Have knowledge within integration platforms and business intelligence.
o Have experience in using models, methods and tools within analysis and design and have solid knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes.
o Have excellent analytical skills. Able to see the big picture as well as the details and to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them.
o Able to interact with strong stakeholders confidently – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
o Able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another.
o Is interested in business and like to see how IT can enable people to achieve business results. Feel comfortable to explain technical information to people in a simple and easy-to understand way.
o Can travel internationally (approximately 30-50 days on a yearly basis).
o Have good level of English (verbally and in writing).
Location: Helsingborg and then Malmö office (the plan is to move in September 2020)
