About the job.
We are now taking the next steps in building up the function Operations and Shared Services Architecture, which consists of two teams. We need to strengthen both teams with new colleagues. Join us on an inspirational and fun journey to create world class architecture for IKEA!

As a person, you have the ability to move freely between different abstractions levels, across architecture aspects as well as from strategy to execution. You have the ability to understand and work with architectures and requirements, creating the needed architecture for the domain. You enable change, create a direction, plan, manage and coach colleagues in understanding the why, moving from knowing to doing. You develop the business and deliver results, seeing the big picture as well as the details- both today and tomorrow.

About the assignment.
As an IT architect you will be part of designing the IKEA IT landscape, identify needed information technology and plan transition steps to achieve the wished business outcome in the best way for IKEA.

Our IT architects lead the architecture activities within their area and are responsible for establishing architecture decisions and providing guidance to secure a holistic architecture aligned with both enterprise guidelines and other areas.

The positions reports to an Architecture Team Leader. They are based at our offices in Älmhult or Helsingborg.
