IT Business Analyst

Job Description
The IT Business Analyst gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements and transforms them into viable specifications and acceptance criteria. The analyst solves business problems and, as needed, designs technical solutions. The analyst documents the functional and, sometimes, the technical design of the system in cooperation with the developers.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify operational and system requirements for analysis and documentation via, for example, workshops, meetings, and interviews.
- Work in pre-studies, projects and change activities and collect business requirements and transform them into specifications used as input to software development and/or configuration.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Production areas business processes and the associated IT landscape
- Together with others, review and approve solution proposals from system vendors.
- Participate in the testing of developed functionality.
- Conduct active dialogue with various stakeholders.
- Support in conducting business cases for IT development.
- Data visualization (Tableau)
- Pro-actively advise how IT further can enhance the business.
- 3rd party management
- Purchasing and investments flow
- IT system owner for non-production business systems
Reporting:
IT Business Analyst reports directly to the IT Manager.
Job requirements
To be successful as a Business Analyst you should have the following capabilities and experiences:
- A degree in computer science, systems science, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT project / implementation manager, BI analyst or similar.
- Broad IT knowledge basis in areas such as ERP, web, production systems, connectivity.
- You should be driven, self-going and structured.
- Fluent in English, fluent Russian is seen as a merit
- You should have good communication and networking skills.
- Experience in Tableau dashboards development is a merit
- Training and/or certification in ITIL/MSP is seen as a merit.
- Previous experience in requirements management and requirements documentation in IT is seen as a merit
This is full-time position with a start according to agreement. Probation period: 6 months.
