IT Business Analyst – Integration EMEA
As an IT Business Analyst - Integration, you will work closely with your business counterparts in EMEA to implement integrations with customers and suppliers.
You have proven skills to convert business requirements into technical specifications that are ready for hand over to the integration development team.
An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology with a minimum of 5 years of experience with integrations and computer applications. You must have solid level in MS Office applications and have excellent written and oral communication skills. You will need to be proficient in data analysis, have worked with agile and waterfall delivery models, and have experience with eCommerce messaging such as XML, UN/Edifact and JSON, and basic experience programming.
This role will report into a team of other Business Analysts and IT Business Partner.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Gather, document, and analyse business and systems processes and message requirements to establish the most efficient integration solutions
- Working closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to translate the business processes and requirements into technical specifications
- Interpreting trading partner’s integration documentation to translate towards the WWL standard integration environment and internal systems.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with the Integration Lead(s) on development resource availability to match internal and external customers timeline expectations
- Work closely with the business teams to develop test case and test data for unit testing and UAT preparation
- Assist and co-ordinate unit testing as part of the development process
- Assist business users with UAT
- Participate in virtual and on-site project meetings and workshops as required
- Adherence to ITIL based Incident, Change and Problem Management processes plus other legal compliance requirements
- Drive educational aspects to lift self-service capabilities within the organization
- Collaborate with other Technology Services teams in Europe, the US & Asia
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
- In-depth knowledge and experience in message modelling for various standards (XML, EDIFACT, X12, custom file formats)
- Technical languages- .net, my sql, java, python a plus
- Technical integration standards – XML, JSON, UN/EDIFACT, X.12
- Familiar with different integration communication protocols
- 5+ years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments
- Create required documentation and provide updates as required
- Experience working with customers, suppliers and cross functional teams
- Managing communications of the client (internal and external) with regards to deliverables, timeframes, by understanding their prioritization
- Implementing solutions to address identified process issues and remove manual workload
- Experience in Transportation and Logistics is a plus
- Experience working in Agile & DevOps teams
- Experience in Digital Transformation Broad Technology knowledge, Azure, DB structure, Cloud environment, hyper cloud a plus
- Experience working with solution architects, developers, and data engineers
- Experience working under Agile and Waterfall delivery models
