In this recruitment the IT organization working closely with Husqvarna Construction Division (CD) is looking for new talents.
Husqvarna Group consists of three different Business Divisions (Husqvarna Brand Division, Gardena Brand Division and Husqvarna Construction Division) and some Group Functions to support the Business Divisions. The IT organization within Husqvarna Group is named Global Information Services (GIS) and is a Group Function who provides services to the entire group. GIS has three different specific IT organizations who is respectively working close to each Business Division.
Organization Description – Construction Division IT (CD GIS)
Husqvarna Construction Division Global Information Services (CD GIS) is a fairly new organization with the purpose to further strengthen the IT delivery towards the business and be seen as a true business partner. The organization can be seen as a broker between the business and IT. The organization consists of five different functions; Business Engagement, Governance, ERP Competence Center, Operations and Enterprise Architecture.
Department Description
One of the departments within CD GIS is the Business Engagement Department (CD GIS BE). The purpose of the department is to bridge the gap between the business and IT. The department consists of a number of Business Engagement Manager positions, Project Management and Business Analysis.

Jonsered, but travels will occur.
Job Description
The IT Business Analyst gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements and transform them into viable specifications and acceptance criteria. The analyst solves business problems and, as needed, designs technical solutions. The analyst documents the functional and, sometimes, technical design of the system in cooperation with the architect. CD GIS BE is now looking to strengthen the Business Analyst area by recruiting Business Analysts.
Key responsibilities as Business Analyst are:
- Develop a detailed understanding of the Construction business and the associated IT landscape.
- Work in pre-studies, projects and change activities and collect business requirements and transform them into specifications used as input to software development and/or configuration.
- Work closely with Business Engagement Managers, Project Managers and Architects in assigned activities to provide value to the business.
- Support in conducting business cases for IT development.
- Build and maintain good relations with key business stakeholders as well as internal GIS colleagues.
- Pro-actively advice how IT further can enhance the business.
The Business Analysts reports directly to the Business Engagement Director.
Job requirements
-To be successful as a Business Analyst you should most likely have the following capabilities and experiences:
- A degree in computer science, systems science or equivalent education or experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst.
- Knowledge within several of the following business areas:
- Supply Chain
- Manufacturing
- Omni-channel commerce
- Aftermarket
- Sales
- R&D
- Broad IT knowledge basis in areas such as ERP, web, production systems, CRM and connectivity.
- You should be driven, self-going and structured.
- Fluent in English.
- Training and/or certification in ITIL and BABOK is seen as a merit.
- You should have good communication and networking skills.
