Purpose of the role:
In this versatile position in our Factory in Sweden you will act as the point of contact for all IT related responsibilities and activities on site, reporting to the Factory IT Cluster Lead and actively participating in the local Factory management team.
Responsibilities:
In alignment with Factory Lead and IT Cluster Lead, proactively engage with relevant business stakeholders, to gain solid understanding of Factory business processes and requirements and to effectively formulate the right solution strategy.
Actively participate in the local factory management team representing the IT role as a trusted and professional business partner taking great care of the business relationship management
Serve as IT solution consultant to business stakeholders and take the lead in mapping relevant technologies and IT services to support business plan execution.
Work closely with business process owners to ensure proper scoping, analysis and documentation of business requirements related to business transformation and change initiatives.
Provide ASP initiatives, roadmaps, and financial plans in close alignment with the Factory management to ensure the most effective impact on the local factory strategies, priorities, and growth plans.
Ensure IT budget execution according to approved plans. Ensure budget reporting and management according to the IT financial planning calendar and in line with global strategic directions.
Ensure timely processing and approval of IT change requests to support the business transformation and change initiatives.
Manage all operational IT activities on site, including hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, lifecycle, replacement, incident management and support for business applications, global and local infrastructure, workplace, mobile, telephony, printing on video conferencing devices.
Ensure compliance of the relevant local IT systems and processes in place according to global IT standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Develop, deliver, maintain, and continuously improve the local factory network and server infrastructure (IACS) according to global IT and GE design guidelines and robustification standards.
Provide guidance to local production and engineering teams and maintain compliant cell designs, network security and remote access capabilities.
Enforce strong project management discipline and ensure adherence to planned budgets and timings, JTI’s Project Management Framework (PMF), global IT standards and procedures as well as global IT strategic directions.
Requirements:
University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background
3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams
Preferred background of employment experience in multinational companies.
Good working knowledge of business and related processes in FMCG industry
Fluent oral and written English
Very good communicator, professional business partner, act as a Project Manager when required (planning, organizing and escalation).
Experience in business requirements analysis, solutions design and architecture, and project management (medium to large projects).
Very curios to understand technology and industry trends.
People management, team orientation, ability to network and establish good connections through all levels of the organization
Good financial and budgetary understanding
Solid knowledge in network, server and operating systems technologies
