IT Category Manager

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management.We work together with Tetra Pak's Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & service that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers.Global IM has 520 employees in three main sites: Lund/Malmö in Sweden, Denton in the US and in Singapore.

Within IT Supplier Management we aim at having the right supplier at the right cost providing the right service.Our key responsibility within the team of totally 10 members is to optimize use of IT suppliers, establish and govern the commercial relationship and manage selected centralized IT purchases.The team is accountable for IT sourcing activities which mean to continuously and systematically manage, evaluate and develop our business relationship with suppliers.

The IT Category Manager's role is to support Tetra Pak's projects and services in sourcing suitable IT solutions and services.The role is to work close to the planners, project leaders and service delivery team to ensure alignment with requirements and future directions.

In this position the key tasks and responsibilities are:

- Source, negotiate and contract suitable suppliers
- Measure supplier performance
- Prepare forecasts, analyze spend and consumption
- Drive to secure value by best practice adoption
- Market Analysis - understand trends and opportunities in a developing market
- In co-operation with key stakeholders; develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies


Kvalifikationer

Successful candidates have solid experience of international vendor management within the IT sector.We expect you to have a University degree within IT and/or Business Administration.You are very skilled in negotiating and to maintain good relations with stakeholders.

You possess proven ability to communicate and work proactively in a matrix environment with both internal and external parties.You act with a natural seniority and show high intrapersonal talents as well as a strong and recognized informal authority.Fluency in English is required.Some travels to our sites in Denton and Singapore will be included in this position.
