IT Consultant to Jeppesen Systems AB

The company develops and implements advanced IT systems to international clients within the aviation- and railway industry.Currently, there are 280 employees at the office in Gothenburg.As an IT consultant at Jeppesen Systems AB you will be a part of a dynamic, multi-cultural company providing many opportunities to grow, both on a personal and professional level.In this role, you will be a part of a project that works for the railway industry.As an IT consultant you will have varied working tasks.You will alternate between programming in house and implementing the systems in the client's environment.The clientele is spread all over Europe and the work involves close cooperation with the customers.Your key tasks include: .Programming and implementing IT systems for the world's leading railways .Maintain long term relationships with clients .Identify areas of improvements You will be located at the office in Gothenburg but business trips, principally within Europe, will be a part of this position. The person we are looking for is educated within computing/IT.You speak fluently German, French or English.However, some basic skills in English are needed since that is the concern language.You have following technical skills: .Java and general programming skills .Unix/Linux It is an advantage if you are familiar with Python and Oracle.There will also be a benefit if you have experience of system development and testing.Since you will be working directly with the clients, high level communication skills is required.You enjoy solving technical problems.
