The group Architecture Services within the department Service Development and Architecture, Group IT, has the objective to provide architect services to the whole organisation with agile response to market and business needs. In our next step of development, the architecture services function will move more towards acting as an internal consultancy organisation, providing architecture services with a clear value proposition, and with clear customers to the services provided. The group today consists of 16 employees and approximately 40 consultants.

As IT Director Architect Services you will have a highly challenging and stimulating role to develop and lead the function, its employees and stakeholders into our new direction. For the right candidate, there are very good possibilities of professional as well as personal development.

Main responsibilities

* Secure efficient supply and follow up on architecture resources provided to the organisation
* Line manager for the architects residing in Service Development and Architecture including goal setting, performance evaluation, salary setting, development of individuals and the team
* Further develop the value proposition, delivery model and capabilities of Architect Services
* Act as ambassador and spokesperson for the Architect Services Function and sell the message and value proposition to various stakeholders in the organisation
* In this position, you report to the Senior IT Director Service Development and Architecture

Required qualifications

* University degree in business, engineering, IT or equivalent
* Leadership experience and prior experience of having people and budget responsibility
* Profound understanding and experience of architecture, project management, maintenance management, business development
* A strong sense for Business Innovation and Digital Technology
* Strong ability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas both orally and written (Power Point)
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Background as consultant, consultant manager or within sales in a consultancy organisation is highly meriting is meritorious

* Strong customer focus with high sense of urgency and proudness to deliver in a professional way
* Change agent, with passion for continuous improvements
* Good leader with the ability to motivate and develop employees in times of change
* Ability to communicate and sell messages to various types of stakeholders
* Strong driver with a will to grow and take further responsibility within our organisation
* Be a good negotiator and team player, as well as be very straightforward and able to take decisions based on professional acceptance and personal courage when needed
