Continuing to invest in our future, we are looking to hire an IT-Director Data & Analytics.

In this new position you will be responsible for the enterprise-wide data & analytics. The purpose is to ensure that the organization is leveraging data & analytics to maximize business value and the effectiveness of the IT-organization in doing so. You will take ownership of the entire data & analytics area to set the structure and evolve best practice. Focus areas are AI, machine learning, architecture, choice of technique and tools. The role will be reporting to the CIO and you will be part of the IT-leadership team. IT-Director Data & Analytics form a central team with a Senior Manager Advanced Analytics & AI and an Analytics Architect and cooperates across the Delivery teams within the IT organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide the organization with data necessary to achieve business goals
• Drive development of ways of working related to data & analytics
• Coordinate and mentor Data & Analytics Specialists in Delivery Teams
• Take ownership of systems, framework and technologies
• Actively participate in IT-leadership team and contribute to the development of the global IT-strategy
• Develop standards and follow up on guidelines and tools related to data & analytics
• Promote shared data & analytics to reduce costs and improve information flow

Qualifications and experience:
We think that you have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology preferably in combination with Business degree or MBA. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from leading IT-specialists as well as excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, forward-thinking and who dares to try out innovation. You have a passion for data & analytics and you are a hands-on leader. The following experience is desired:

• System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of relevant data & analytics platforms, frameworks & technologies.
• Solid experience and expertise about advanced analytics including ML & AI
• Experience from agile development and DevOps methods
• Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of customers’ business processes and documented experience from applying digital technology creating business effect
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
