WHO YOU ARE
This is the position for you who are passionate about shaping the growth of IKEA. You are motivated to keep learning and to forget the obsolete. We believe that you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital and IT implementations, preferably working in cross-functional product teams. You have experience with leading in change together with strong documented leadership skills. We think that you have interest and experience in agile ways of working, but more importantly an agile mindset. You also have knowledge of IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• extensive understanding of Information Technology and IT implementation knowledge e.g. IT infrastructure (WAN, server infrastructure etc.)
• intermediate knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication and how to integrate these processes
• fundamental knowledge of change management methods and tools
• good written and verbal communication skills
• knowledge within project methodologies
• knowledge of Agile principles and ways of working
• IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
To be successful in this role you need first and foremost to be a team player with a desire to make a difference. To be able to deliver towards sharp deadlines but at the same always strive for improvements and not be afraid of trying new things, or to fail. It is important that you demonstrate leadership skills by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions. You are very structured and organized, and you believe in trust as a tool to make things happen. It is also important that you understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
In this position you will manage the technical implementation in IT Expansion initiatives. You will lead and support IT expansion teams and Country IT representatives in all technical delivery and IT implementation aspects within IT expansion initiatives. When applicable, perform assignments across time zones to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders.
You will:
• ensure that there are assigned resources to all ongoing technical implementation tasks within the execution phase of IT expansion projects
• ensure that all technical implementation tasks are planned and conducted in the right sequence
• ensure that orders, deliveries and configurations/installations etc. are performed with quality and in time
• initiate, drive and follow up activities regarding technical implementation in the Execute phase of IT expansion projects, e.g. completion of Technical Translation Document.
• document known errors, workarounds, improvement suggestions and lessons learned
• identify, mitigate and manage risks with regard to technical delivery/IT implementation
• take part in meetings and report project status during the Execute phase
• manage communication to stakeholders relevant for the assignment or project
• work across initiatives within INGKA Group to successfully deliver IT expansion projects that drives IKEA business growth
In this role you will report to the IT Expansion Manager
Location for this position is Malmö
