Our team working with Seco Tools, a Business Area (BA) within Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS), has the overall responsibility for delivering IT services and projects. We ensure the use of common processes and tools to find sustainable, user-friendly and high quality solutions, and we aim to meet and exceed the needs and demands of the organization. We are now looking for an IT Functional Manager with responsibility for Seco Information Product Marketing Systems to join us in Fagersta - a person who thrives on operating close to the core business in an international environment, and who sees excellent teamwork as an obvious part of a successful delivery.

Job Summary
As an IT Functional Manager, you are responsible for leading, motivating and coaching a global IT team in meeting and exceeding the requirements and needs of the organization. You manage resources and performance, ensuring the development of the team, and you are accountable for budgets, forecasts and action plans – all in line with our strategy to ensure effectiveness and a clear business focus. Maintaining our SLAs and following up on KPIs are important parts of your mission, as is overviewing and managing contractual agreements with third party suppliers. As we depend on strong networks, you ensure close collaboration and clear communication with the local business and with Seco IT Demand, as well as with the rest of Sandvik IT.

In this role, you report to the Head of SMS IT Delivery for Seco and you also take an active part in our management team.

We are looking for someone with Bachelor’s in IT or who has gained equivalent knowledge from previous work experience. You have documented experience from a manager’s position, leading and motivating personnel and handling budgets, while experience from leading an IT function, working in a management team and acting in an agile development setting is advantageous. Previous contacts with third party suppliers are a requirement and we consider experience with PDM, PLM, E-commerce, Qlik Sense or QlikView a plus. As we act in an international environment, you must have excellent skills in English, both speaking and writing, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
