The group Powertrain Assembly and Maintenance IT has the mission to support our component workshops with business development and on-site technical support. By being close to the daily operations we fully understand what is crucial to our colleagues in the workshops and can judge the impact of new solutions and how they should be implemented. The team is now looking for a new servant leader!



What you will do

As a group manager for powertrain and maintenance IT you are expected to show passion, curiosity and determination to inspire people around you.

Your daily challenges will include:


• Overall responsibility for IT deliveries in close cooperation with various stakeholders
• Coordinate with several IT service delivery organisations to support your business
• Build a strong relationship with your stakeholders enabling seamless cooperation
• Manage roadmaps to make sure our commitments to businesses stakeholders are holding up
• Motivating, engaging and developing your co-workers
• Responsible for budget and to maximize business value from your capacity
• Be an active member of the section’s management team



Your profile

You have an interest for technology and production and some understanding of the IT stacks that are needed for an efficient workshop operation. You have the ability to talk in terms of IT and understand the reality of the users and business critical deliveries. You will need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. It is important to you to give your employees the best support possible to help them grow and guiding them to take on new challenges.



You also have:


• Relevant university degree in the IT field and/or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership role e.g. manager, project manager, team leader
• Fluent skills in Swedish and English
• Basic finance management skills
• Knowledge about agile methodology

We are designing and implementing the future IT landscape for P&L to support this new world driven by digitalization, a global production system, launch of new products and the cooperation within Traton group.
