Arbetsbeskrivning
Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP). A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
We’re now looking for a business-minded IT Information and Security Manager for this new business area – an entrepreneurial people person who really thrives in a changing environment. In return, we offer you an exciting digital arena, where new challenges, modern technology, teamwork and problem-solving are all part of our culture!
Let’s talk about your mission
Your main mission is to support the business needs, requirements and strategies of the business area from an IT perspective – developing architecture and application designs, ensuring that information in relevant systems is used and shared in an optimal way, and actively work to prevent information security risks. You have a central role in providing input to various stakeholders throughout the organization – which, under normal circumstances, includes some occasional travel days for representative matters.
With innovation and efficiency in mind, you develop and maintain the IT architecture in a cost effective and sustainable way, according to the business requirements as well as the architectural strategy and standards. To make sure these requirements are met, you support and guide the divisions across SRP in the design and implementation process of new applications. Your holistic view helps you to identify possible synergies throughout the organization, including promoting shared application solutions where it brings value in reducing cost and risk.
As a part of the Sandvik IT Security and Risk Council, you take the lead in information security matters – advising relevant stakeholders, assessing projects or new solutions and ensuring that security policies and guidelines are implemented and followed. You also support the system and information owners in defining business requirements regarding availability, confidentiality and integrity, and conduct audits to safeguard that major initiatives are compliant from an information security perspective.
The location for this job is preferably in Svedala, but it can be open for discussion.
And what about you?
Your career consists of ten years of more in similar IT roles, and with a background of leading through others, you have a confident approach when interacting with different stakeholders and taking initiatives for cross-functional improvement actions. We believe you have a relevant IT degree and are fluent in English, as we work in a global setting.
Change, the possibility to create and to be a part of something brand new is something that excites you, and your social qualities makes it easy for you to really drive change and get the right people involved. With a way of seeing things from a wide perspective, you find truly innovative and effective solutions that stand out and keeps us successful.
