Role Overview

As IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager you are responsible for ensuring that Heart Aerospace has an IT infrastructure that enables us to meet our strategic goals. You will be responsible for the day to day delivery of IT services to the business as well as the continuous planning. The role requires you to interact with all parts of the organization, to use your understanding of organizational needs and translate them into digital solutions. Heart Aerospace are currently using IT services from suppliers, so coordinating and managing different suppliers is an important part of the job.

This is a hands-on, delivery focused position and requires a candidate with a broad set of skills who can operate across a variety of levels of detail and complexity, related technical and professional disciplines, and stakeholder groups. You will report to the Head of Digitalization and IT and will be fully responsible for meeting allocated objectives relating to your domain.

This is a new role which presents both a challenge and exciting opportunity to develop, advance, and influence the development of our IT organization.

Your key responsibilities would include but not limited to:

Lead the IT Infrastructure and Operations organization

Identify organizational needs, plan and initiate new processes and projects

Plan and operate the IT environment (Infrastructure and digital workplace services)

Maintain and develop the company support desk for all parts of the IT infrastructure domain

Work with vendors/partners to improve service deliveries and build strong partnerships

Operational license management


*Qualifications & Experience*

Relevant academic background

-
Minimum 5 years of professional experience from relevant businesses

Extensive Infrastructure and IT Operations background

-
In-depth knowledge of at least some of these technical areas: base infra structure, Integrations, Firewall, WAN/LAN, Cloud services (AWS, Azure), servers (Windows, Linux), Digital Workplace including M365

Previous experience running an "end to end", multi-skilled IT Operations teams, able to create a sense of team, purpose and development

Track record of driving appropriate process adherence (e.g. ITIL methodologies, implementation of ISO27001 etc.)

Experience operating in a change control and configuration management environment

Experience in Project Management and Cost Management

Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

Eagerness to work with others
