IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role
As an IT-infrastructure specialist, you and your colleagues are responsible for operating and developing Boliden’s IT-infrastructure. You will be working with datacenter and server operations, cloud infrastructure, storage, backup and IT-security. The position offers great development opportunities and to some extend it is possible to customize it to suit your experience and specific skills.
The assignment is versatile with a high level of independence and plenty of room for personal initiatives. The work includes collaborating with customers and suppliers. As a specialist, you participate in projects where you contribute with your skills as an IT-infrastructure specialist.
The position is permanent and full time employment and you will be located in Boliden. Since Boliden is a group with operation in different countries, travel to various sites might be required.
Education and requirements
Ideally, you have an appropriate technical education and a few years of experience from working with IT-infrastructure but that is not a requirement. Maybe you have a generic background within IT and want to develop and specialize in infrastructure? Most important is your drive and ability to adapt, develop and learn.
The job requires the ability to communicate, cooperate, and focus on results and you need to be structured and analytical. You will be working with platforms and products such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Azure.
Excellent English and intermediate Swedish skills is a requirement as well as a category B driving license.
