Job description
Nippon Gases are looking for a IT Local Service Specialist situated in Köping.
We are searching for a driven, independent and solution-focused employee to join our Service Desk team. The team provides support to our employees in Northern Europe (Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the UK)
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of IT Local Service Specialist you will be responsible for:
Responsible for supporting and maintaining local IT infrastructure environments and locations
Actively follows up and maintains tickets through the IT Management / Ticketing System
Takes part of the Telephone Helpdesk group to support end-users by phone
Works independently on Local IT projects coordinated by the IT European Local Services Manager
Support European implementation and upgrade projects in the IT Infrastructure and Operations area. Both coordinated by the - - European Project Manager or Non-IT Project Managers
Supports the tools, software and other services for all local offices/branches
Writes thorough and comprehensive documentation & procedures for colleagues and end-users
Provides European assistance regarding IT Hardware Standards, maintenance and troubleshooting
Interacts with suppliers and orders IT material in compliance with the Hardware standards
Actively trains colleagues to understand and support new technologies that were implemented
Supports other IT teams (2th and 3rd line) and functions as a bridge towards end users
Takes part in a shift system to ensure IT support during the set business hours
Scope
Fulltime and placed in Köping
Regular travel to our other sites in Scandinavia
Rapports to: IT European Local Services/Service Desk Manager (Olen, Belgium)
Job requirements
To succeed in this role we think you have following qualifications and experience
Qualifications
Has a Bachelor in IT degree (or equivalent through experience)
Language: Fluent in Swedish and English and if have knowledge of other European languages on top it is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure with focus on support in large environments
Wide experience in Microsoft Office and 365 Products Strong knowledge of Wide Area Solutions
Good knowledge of IT datacenter technologies (DHCP, AD, DNS, SAN, NAS,…) and underlying components
Good knowledge of the current Microsoft Operating Systems
Good knowledge of common used client software (VPN, Encryption, PDF software,…)
Knowledge of common ITSM platforms
Broad knowledge of and experience with enterprise IT Client hardware (Laptops, Desktops,…)
Experience with mobile devices (iPhone, Android,...) configuration and troubleshooting
Basic Experience with Software Distribution Solutions
Basic Experience with Citrix Technology
Use to work in an international environment
