IT Manager - Business Applications

Verisure is seeking an innovative and driven IT Manager, with passion for people and technology, to join our Group Technology Organization. You will be responsible for our Installation and Maintenance area, delivering and supporting applications that bring value to our users (e.g. field installers), today and tomorrow.

The Installation and Maintenance department belongs to Business Applications and is, together with the Sales area and Financial systems, leading the development of Business IT within Verisure Technology North. The Installation and Maintenance department is responsible for all Verisure Installation and Maintenance services, used by the North platform, and has stakeholders in all countries where we are present. The role will report to the Business Applications Manager, Technology North, and will be based in Malmö. 

Key responsibilities 
* Lead, empower and challenge the engineering teams responsible for our Installation & Maintenance services, e.g. mobile applications, planning tools, automation support, etc. through agile methodology. The teams consist of approximately 10 resources (SW Engineers, Test engineers, Product owners and Scrum Masters)
* Provide strategic direction. Break down organizational goals, to departmental and individual objectives
* Plan and allocate personnel to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals 
* Develop solutions and roadmaps to accelerate Business IT capabilities within Installation & Maintenance services 
* Manage the overall operational and financial responsibilities and activities of the department
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationship with internal and external stakeholder management

We believe you have in total 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the IT industry, and 3+ years’ experience from previous management positions.

Furthermore, you have: 
* Experience from leading in-house IT product development teams 
* Experience of delivering complex high-tech projects, involving integration of large systems and mobile application engineering and other digital platforms
* Experience in Mobile and web development frameworks
* Experience in Agile Methodologies
* Ability to manage vendor negotiations and contractual relationships  
* Experience in multi-national and multi-cultural environment
* Fluent in English
