Job Description

Scania Credit is on a digitalization journey and we are looking for an IT Manager who wants to develop and execute digitalization improvements, supporting the developing business needs. The IT Manager and Information Security Officer’s responsibilities also include planning, execution, and maintenance of Scania Credit IT environments and systems. This is based on the input from Scania Credit’s system and process owners and done in accordance with the global Scania Corporate IT Strategy and Scania Information Security standards.
The responsibility also covers coordination of IT activity and Information Security standards in all markets where Scania Credit is doing business (Central Asia & Middle East and West Africa).
Principal responsibilities of the role include;
• Managing a team according to Scania leadership model
• Heading and steering Scania Credit IT related activities
• Driving and executing digitalization of internal and external processes
• Presentation of new IT projects towards respective decision forum
• Implementation of IT projects
• Defining and follow-up on IT strategy of SCA
• Ensuring compliance with external and internal audit and legislation requirements for IT system setup according to best practices in industry standards
• Representing business in corporate Information Security organisation to develop and maintain common ISec Principles, Rules, Standards and Methods and help develop, implement and maintain these IS/IT Rules, Standards and Methods in Scania Credit
• Developing and maintaining IS/IT policies and Disaster Recovery Plan
• Keeping up to date with HW and SW technology development relevant to Scania Credit business
• Being responsible for the interface between end users and external suppliers of business applications, and between Scania Credit IT and Central Scania IT
• Developing and maintaining relations to strategic system integrators/ software partners and IT suppliers. Maintain SLAs with suppliers, negotiate technical terms and costs in IT related contracts
• Being responsible for the budget of the IT department and IT infrastructure
The work will consist of both making sure the daily operation works as efficiently as possible and drive change management, often in project form. The position requires active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and covers both existing and new markets.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal integrity, is driven and self-motivated, takes own initiatives and possesses excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is also very welcome).
You are also a business minded team player who is used of working in an international environment, with people of various background and nationality. You are motivated by challenges which include operations in growing markets and are not afraid of continuously changing and new circumstances to which you will need to adapt.
Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:
• University degree in information and computer science and/or several years of relevant experience
• Used to lead in a changing environment
• Experience of Business intelligence environments, particularly Power BI
• Experience in IT compliance and information Security standards (ISO 27001 standard and IT Operations audit experience would be considered an advantage)
• Experienced in IT operational HW & SW infrastructure and software lifecycle management.
• Leadership experience
