IT Manager - Technical Competence Center

Group Functions IT is now looking for an IT Manager to enhance our team – embarking with us on our cloud transformation and automation journey, together with colleagues all over the world!
The job
In this position, you set the groundwork for the team’s skills development and ensure that we as an organization secure relevant competence for the future. You work closely with your employees and our operations regarding different domains such as integration, cloud and data including analytics. Accompanied with all this, you work continuously with road mapping and strategy development of the IT group function, as well as interacting with Sandvik IT Services, other stakeholders from different Group Functions and cooperating with various parties and other areas within Sandvik.
You’re preferably seated near one of our units in Sandviken or Stockholm, Sweden.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has a technical background and previous experience from team leading – an advantage if you’ve worked in a similar role to this in the IT sector. Also important is to have earlier experience with Agile Framework like SAFe, DA etc, and agile ways of working. You’re knowledgeable of Data Warehouse, Power BI, integration, analytics, web and OneStream. Since we’re operating in an international setting, you’re fluent in the English language, both in written and verbal form.
You’re a cooperative soul and a natural leader with a drive for development, both on a personal and professional level. As we’re a spread-out and global team, you know how to bridge the gap between people from different cultures. You embrace challenges that may come your way, all while doing it with a positive attitude.
