Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations and Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of IT services and projects for a global MedTech manufacturer. You will be responsible for managing the IT operations, infrastructure and support across the Nordics, UK and Ireland. You will also oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
This is an initial 12 month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent employment. The job is based in Halmstad. This role reports to the Director of IT Operations, and has 5 direct reports.
Responsibilities
• Manage the IT operations, infrastructure, security, and support for the ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
• Lead projects as required, overseeing the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, following best practices and methodologies.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and partners, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of IT services and projects.
• Manage the IT budget, resources, and risks, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Report on the status, performance, and outcomes of IT operations and projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT operations and project management, preferably in the MedTech, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries.
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and with a quality focus.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure, and support best practices and tools.
• Knowledge in IT project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, PMBOK, MS Project, Jira, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
