Would you like to work with the Common Data Warehouse (CDW) Tech Application Management Team as an IT Service Manager? We are now looking for a IT Service Manager to operate, monitor, optimize and automate our application.

About this opportunity
As the IT Service Manager for CDW Tech Application Management, you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring the stable operations of the CDW application . You will also provide the direction to the team and has a deep technical understanding of how operate, optimize and automate the application (based on Snowflake & DataStage Platform).
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to operate, monitor, deploy, automate, and scale our applications and systems effectively. You will help us support our users, developers and our BizDevOps journey, to ensure we are geared towards high quality and low cycle-time and that our customers are our first priority.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the Operations (Incident, Problem & Change Management) execution
* Actively leading our DVM Operational calls and act as SPOC for Operations
* Extensive Stakeholder Management
* Managing the external vendor while also being a technical mentor, coach and perform competence development and knowledge sharing within your capability
* Operate and monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
* Work closely with ART/development teams to integrate BizDevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle and to enhance collaboration, automation, and efficiency across the organization
* Working closely with development teams to help support our Nordea BizDevOps ambitions with architects and hardware/infrastructure engineers within Nordea
* Working across cultures enabling an international footprint
You'll join a cross-functional agile team of talented and very technically-skilled people, working with modern technologies and tools – and prioritising learning culture and having fun in our daily work. This role is based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Warsaw/Gdansk office. This is a permanent full-time role and we follow hybrid model of working. Ideally you could start already before end of Summer.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* 2+ years of hands knowledge of Snowflake & Datastage
* Have good communication skills and are able to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable way, and enjoys interacting with other people
* Are goal-oriented and takes responsibility for and focus on the big picture
* Are a quick learner that is interested in expanding your knowledge in the Data Warehousing domain
* Ability to build relationships across Business, Technology and Architecture
Your experience and background:
* A degree in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
* 3+ years of devops experience in the Data Warehousing Domain
* In-depth knowledge about the banking domain
* Self-driven with ability to work independently and under own initiative once the initial guidance is given
* Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex and demanding issues
* Experience of stakeholder's engagement management
Additional background and/or skillset, that are useful in this role:
* Experience in Mainframe Technologies like COBOL, JCL would be an added advantage
