Role mission & context


As IT Performance Management manager, you have the responsibility of driving activities in performance management and information management area for all IT delivery teams. It means to develop and maintain performance analytics, assess and support activities related to architecture design in a Volvo Group environment (and associated partners if required)


Within this role, constructive collaboration with the other entities of Volvo Group, potential external partners, and HCL organization is a key factor of success. You will need to develop a good relationship with your business partners and stakeholders.

Your team: This organization is gathering professionals in performance analytics using platforms such as Power Bi or Servicenow and expertise in architecture who are defining and supporting a healthy and sustainable development of our IT ecosystem

For this position, we are looking for a person with strong and inspiring leadership skills. You have proven experience as a leader, and a good understanding and knowledge of the IT Delivery environment (frameworks, ways of working, roles, delivery experience, Agile, etc.).
You are motivated by developing people in this area. You have a personal drive for continuous improvement to improve delivery efficiency and measure progress.
You have a strong ability in networking and can set direction and objectives, and understand how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy
You share core values according to the Volvo Way. You can manage diversity, work in cross-functional teams and build trust in the organization. You actively collaborate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. You are comfortable with driving change and also have the courage to make decisions. Activities


Performance analytics: collect stakeholder needs, build and provide guiding visual management to support Volvo group IT delivery teams' development with Leading and Lagging KPI (data-driven approach).
Information management: Analyse, define and evolve our IT for IT architecture to secure standard applications and reduction of our technical debt.


Position Description
Lead a Department; ITSM business intelligence & analytics and information management
Deploy agile ways of working to enable the team to plan and work efficiently and be able to join and support other stable teams using agile ways of working
Develop and run a reporting factory with an agile delivery pace and practice
Support the Architecture team in their mission to reduce our technical debt and reduce the complexity of our architecture
Provide consulting in this area if needed

Required competencies
Broad IT Delivery background as well as demonstrated experience in driving operational improvement and execution is a prerequisite
Excellent coaching, continuous improvement, and analytical skills.
Interest in driving new Ways of Working and developing people
Experience in Agile is needed
Have demonstrated strong leadership competencies in leading cross-functional teams in a global context and managing good relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
Presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Passion to drive global teams in joint activities, to develop and coach people
Team player and committed to getting the job done
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a Leading People position
Relevant university degree
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement

Location
Flexible but limited to our main sites in Belgium (Ghent), France (Lyon), India (Bangalore), Poland (Wroclaw) or Sweden (Gothenburg or Skövde)
