IT Portfolio Manager

About the Job

As a Portfolio Manager in Technology North, you will be responsible for one or more Lean Portfolio(s), ensuring that the initiative deliveries are aligned cross functionally in a way that we can optimize our portfolio roadmap.

We are currently implementing a scaled agile setup where we are moving from a traditional PMO set-up to a scaled agile setup including Lean Portfolio Management and PI Planning. You will be an important part of, together with other team members and the Agile Office, driving continuous improvements of the way we do portfolio management, portfolio reporting and roadmaps, to ensure that we meet the portfolio KPI:s.

You will work closely with stakeholders both in Technology North, but also Technology South and R&D. You will report to the Portfolio & Planning Manager in the Technology North Demand, Portfolio and PMO department.

Your main job responsibilities:
* Ensure that all large improvement ideas are captured, prioritized, reviewed, analyzed and approved for implementation.
* Facilitate the Portfolio Council, making sure that initiatives are advanced through the Kanban system.
* Facilitate the Pulse meeting, addressing blockers and impediments.
* Collect portfolio metrics and value stream KPI:s
* Maintain the portfolio roadmap.
* Responsible for on boarding of new initiatives.
* Work closely with and provide guidance to Delivery Managers/Initiative Owners in the Lean Portfolio Management process.
* Oversee and safeguard the initiative documentation needed in different phases, with emphasis on start and closure.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal/external partners and sponsors ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the initiative life cycle.

What you bring
 

You can communicate clearly around strategies, goals as well as the day-to-day status of operation and have excellent relationship building skills. You are organized and able to maintain a holistic overview.

We manage our portfolio in a Kanban maintained in Jira, so you´ll bring extensive Jira knowledge. For the reporting you need to have good knowledge in Excel and preferably Power BI.

Essential requirements
 
* Working experience in agile methodologies.
* Attentive to detail but able to see the big picture.
* Solution oriented approach with ability to drive.
* Ideally SAFE certified
* Fluent in English
