IT Process Manager

Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. Products are manufactured in cemented carbide and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.

SMS IT in Sandviken acts as system owner for our Enterprise Business Platform with the core built on SAP ERP. We are now rolling out a sales support solution globally for one of our product areas. At the same time we are building a solution for SMS Distribution Centers. We are also planning a project for building a solution for our production units. All of our solutions built on SAP have the finance module as a core component. We are now looking for an IT Process Manager with the focus on finance.

Location for this position is preferably Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As an IT Process Manager your main responsibility is to support business in defining their business demands and transforming business demands into IT demands and, on behalf of business, ensure value creation through IT.

You are also responsible for:
- Ensuring that the principles of the SMS IT Strategy are reflected in our business processes
- Communicating business process information internally within the IT service organization
- The delivery of IT Process support to the Process owner
- Ensuring execution of information solution decisions
- Coordinating requests with other processes owners/IT process managers

Your profile
You hold a Master's or Bachelor´s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Finance, or have the equivalent knowledge and experience gained in some other manner. You have three to five years´ experience in the IT management/Finance field, and previous experience in implementation of business systems or similar processes is an advantage. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written. Skills in other languages are an advantage.

As a person you are driven, structured, pedagogical and service-oriented. You are able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, with internal customers and cross-functional colleagues. To be successful in your role, it is vital that you have an understanding of the impact of other business processes on finance.
