IT Process Manager for Supply Chain

Sandvik Machining Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. Products are manufactured in cemented carbide and other hard materials such as diamond, cubic boron nitride and special ceramics.

The SMS IT Demand area for Supply Chain has the responsibility to understand, anticipate and influence business demand, translate it into demands on IT and continuously ensure that business needs are fulfilled. We are now looking for an IT Process Manager, to be located in Sandviken or Lucerne.

Key performance areas
As IT Process Manager, your area of responsibility includes supporting businesses in defining their business demands and transforming them into IT demands. You also ensure value creation through IT and that the principles of the SMS IT Strategy are reflected in our business processes. You will work both in project teams and individually to specify IT/Business needs and prioritize IT demand.

SMS is implementing a new business and IT platform called Enterprise Business Platform (EBP), which will enable real-time information sharing within the organization and provide better support to customers and the business area. You will bear an important role in this project.

Some travel will be required in this position.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Industrial Economics, Computer Science or Systems Development, or solid work experience from qualified IT management. You have knowledge of SAP within SD/MM/WM, and you also have experience from larger projects, preferably within process development and Supply Chain. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal, are prerequisite.
